What are your opening hours?
We are open Wednesday - Saturday 9.30am - 5.00pm with a late opening on a Thursday 12.30pm - 8.00pm. Sunday is by appointment only. We are closed all day Mondays and Tuesdays.

Is there anywhere to park near the studio?
Yes there is. There is free parking on the road immediately outside the studio where there are generally parking spaces. If there are none available at the time of your visit, turn into Westbrook Avenue opposite the studio and there you will find ample free parking spaces.

How many photos do you take and how long is a session?
We generally take around 80 images during a one hour session. From those 80 images around 30 are selected and worked on. These images are enhanced, and designs will be created personally for you. During your viewing you will be treated to a film show of these images for you to make your selection from.

Will there be anywhere for us to change clothes?
Yes, but please come ready dressed for your session. We have a dressing room, so you may bring a change of clothes if you require. If you hve any special interests or hobbies please feel free to bring them as props. They can be included in your portraits capturing your unique style.

How quickly will my portraits be ready?
It really depends upon what you order. Some images may be ready within four weeks, but if you order a specialist product, the order should be ready in around 6 weeks.

Why do you need my credit card details?
Just like booking a hotel room, this is a standard requirement. We take a fully refundable deposit at the time of booking by credit or debit card which secures your appointment at the studio along with your photographer. This is refunded back to you at your viewing stage, or against any purchases you make.

What if I am unable to make my appointment for any reason?
Should it become necessary to change your appointment we require 5 days notice or you will incur a rebooking charge of £20 as we are unable to fill family bookings at such short notice.

Can I pay by credit?
Yes we accept most major credit or debit cards. When spending over £450 you can spread the cost, interest free over 4 months with a debit or credit card.

Can you make me look my best?
We always aim to capture your character and its youthfulness, whatever your age. With the help of digital enhancement we are experts at smoothing skin, removing spots wrinkles and whitening teeth. If there is anything extra you need then just let us know!

What can you do that I can't do at home?
Our staff are all professionals and fully trained in the art of lighting techniques. Our high tec studios create the best natural soft lighting available, which will enhance your features to your full potential giving you a natural glow. With the help and expertise of your photographer you will be easily shown how to naturally pose to bring out the best in you.

How long does the viewing last?
A viewing generally lasts about an hour. We give you that time so that you are not hurried when making your selection, enabling you to make the right choice.

Do I need to bring my voucher with me?
Yes you do. Your voucher entitles you to a substantial discount on your order.

What should I bring to the viewing?
Please bring your partner and any other family members that may want to order portraits for themselves. Full payment is required when you place an order, we accept payment by credit/debit card, cheque, and cash. Or spend £450 and you can spread the cost interest free over 4 months with a credit or debit card.

Can I bring my children along to the viewing?
We recommend parents not to bring young children to the viewing. Experience has shown that they become bored and irritable in the dark and get tired very quickly during an hour of viewing. This may also distract your attention when choosing your portraits.

When will my portraits be ready?
Generally, if you are ordering Wall portrats your order will take around 4 to 5 weeks from your order date. Smaller orders can be ready in 3 weeks if required.

How long do you keep the images on file for?
Only the images you order at your viewing are kept on file. They are archived for approx 6 months to 1 year.

When can we come for an update?
You may come back in at any time, and as children grow up so quickly, it is also a good idea to do so.

To get the most out of your time, money and children however, we recommend you come back to see us every two or three years.

Households are limited to use one Family Portrait Experience voucher per family per year.
Without a voucher/offer, our studio fee is £45.00 per hour.

However you may wish to try something different like our new Make over Experience, or our Fairy Experience which is held only once a year.There is also Free Kidz Klub sessions available mid week as well.
